SOG background challenge

I have been waiting and wanting to make some cards and now that my craft room is complete I can!

This card is inspired by the December challange at the Some Odd Girl Blog
I decided to make my own background, using extra stamp pieces!u my friend Mary Jo used to take her Stampin' Up stamps and cut around the edges of of the image and collected a ton of adhesived foam based rubber. I cut them in squares, triangles, diamonds and other shapes. Then stamped on white card stock with VersaMark, and then did a ombré effect with embossing powder. I then cut those into strips and spaced them on white card stock, and die cut them with Sizzix Ornate Frame #3.
I then stamped Some Odd Girl stamp Music Mae with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with copics. And added white ink Sakura gelly roll pen to add highlight on the eyes.
The card is on a base of brown paper with swirls (I don't know brand, sorry, boight it two years ago!), purple and white and brown bakers twine. I taped down Musical Mae and the frame. I then dash lined around the frame.
